As beautiful and as clear as glass but much lighter and less breakable. That is PLEXIGLAS.

PLEXIGLAS comprises two collections: Clear cast and Clear extruded.

Clear extruded – Extruded acrylic

Resistant to abrasion and chemicals
High light transmission and distribution
Uniformly clear

The Clear extruded collection has greater clarity and is 25 times stronger than glass. The sheets do not yellow and are UV-resistant. The sheets have a light transmission of 92%.

Clear cast – Cast acrylic

Optically pure
Highly suitable for engraving
Shatter-resistant

The sheets in the Clear cast collection are highly suitable for engraving. The sheets in this collection can be ordered in various grades of clarity. They are resistant to extreme heat and pressure.

Characteristics

The PLEXIGLAS collections are optically pure, can withstand extreme pressure and heat and are shatterproof. Whether you select the Clear cast or Clear extruded collection, the quality of the sheets is high. The light transmission and distribution mean the collections are extremely suitable for combining with lighting/LED. PLEXIGLAS is lighter in weight than glass. Delivery options

The PLEXIGLAS collections are in stock at Pyrasied. We keep a large number of sheets in stock so that you can get started on your project(s) right away. The maximum sheet size is 3050 x 2050 mm and the available thicknesses are 2 to 6, 8, 10, 15 and 20 mm. Pyrasied delivers throughout the Netherlands and in the rest of Europe.

To view and feel the material, simply request a sample.

Processing options

PLEXIGLAS collections can be sawn, milled, laser cut, bent, bonded, drilled, bevelled, polished, given a matte finish and printed. Pyrasied can perform these processes for you or advise and/or support you in this area.
