A completely carbon-free manufacturing process powered by renewable energy. You can’t get more sustainable than that! Green Cast is made from recycled pre- and post-consumer acrylic. What’s more, Green Cast material can be recycled again and again into the same product. It’s an incredibly extraordinary and vibrant brand from the Italian Madreperla that has been in Pyrasied’s product range for 10 years now.
The materials in the Letter collection are non-porous and UV stable. The opaque colours are available in twelve standard shades. Can be ordered with satin or high gloss finish on one side.
The Metallics collection comprises 11 different colours. The material is beautiful to look at and soft to the touch. The metallic finish creates a wonderful interplay with light.
The Galaxy collection is inspired by the beauty of the night sky. This collection comprises various concentrations and sizes of glitter. In addition, this collection has 8 to 10 times greater impact resistance than glass!
The Transparent collection comprises over 15 different colours, including clear! The sheets are UV-resistant and colourfast and are easy to work with. Give your creativity free rein and see what emerges.
The Translucent collection is ideal for creating privacy without sacrificing all the light in the space. The contours of objects or people standing behind the material remain visible
The Satin glass collection is UV stable and weather-resistant. Both sides of the sheets have a matte finish and sparkle in the light. The effect of the matte finish is to diffuse the light. As the name suggests, the sheets feel as smooth as satin.
The Iridé collection has a metallic look that produces a subtle glitter in the material. The colours are opaque on both sides. The collection comprises four different colours.
The Nacré collection comprises four different colours, inspired by the colours inside a seashell. The iridescence that the material radiates gives them an elegant vintage look.
The Stone collection materials give the design a rough and rugged appearance. The sheets have a satin finish on one side and are glossy on the other. It’s up to you which to use as the facing side.
The iridescent mother of pearl effect, together with the properties of PMMA are features of the Iridis collection. The collection has an elegant look and the colours change depending on the light and the angle at which they are viewed.
Green Cast is made of 100% recycled acrylic and can itself be fully recycled. The manufacture of the collections is carbon neutral. The materials used to make Green Cast comply with ISO 7823.1. This material is also Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) type III certified. If you are looking for a sustainable acrylic, then Green Cast is the brand for you.
Pyrasied has the Green Cast collections in stock. For the Translucent and Letter collections, the maximum size is 3050 x 2030 mm for thicknesses of 3 mm and 5 mm, and 3020 x 2020 mm for a thickness of 8 mm.
The maximum size of other Green Cast collections is 2030 x 1525 mm.
If you’d rather have a different thickness or sheet size, they can be made especially for you. All collections can be manufactured in thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 20 mm.
All designs in the Green Cast collection can be sawn, milled, laser cut, bonded, drilled, bevelled, polished, given a matte finish and printed.
