PETG

PETG is more than just a 3D printer filament

PETG is used in 3D printing and is suitable for many other applications. The glycol in PETG is responsible for the material’s robustness and impact resistance. PETG is no less than 15 to 20 times stronger than acrylic. This type of material is extruded so there is minimal thickness tolerance.

PETG is a chemical-resistant, impact-resistant, waterproof plastic that can easily be bent. It is ideal if you need to create round shapes. However, angular shapes are also possible with PETG.

Certified material

The food may come into contact with foodstuffs as it is food grade certified (SQF certification). Its food grade certification and fire-safety rating mean PETG can be used in public spaces.

Plastic material

PETG becomes more plastic than PC and PMMA at higher temperatures, making it the primary choice for the vacuum forming of components. This means it is ideal for indoor use and for the lighting/LED sector.

Diffuser

A PETG diffuser is fire safe and capable of directing light. With an extensive product range, this type is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 5 mm as standard.

Clear

Clear is easy to work with, impact-resistant and optically pure, and comes in an extensive range of options. Thicknesses range from 2 mm to 10 mm. Pyrasied stocks the right PETG Clear for any project. Clear is simple to process and is available in a gloss or double-sided satin finish. PETG can also be used to make diffusers for the lighting/LED industry.
