Laser engraving or routing?
Pyrasied has an extensive collection of CNC machines that includes laser and engraving machines. These machines are computer-guided so they can engrave with extreme precision.
Acrylic is engraved with our laser cutting machines and all other materials are engraved mechanically. Depending on the type of material, drawings can be imported from AutoCAD, STP files and Illustrator.
Our laser cutting machines have a maximum flatbed size of 3050 x 2050 mm, which means that all of our large format acrylics – up to 60 mm thick – will fit on them. Engraving with a router can be done up to a thickness of 100 mm and with an area of 4000 x 2000 mm. Engraving with a router is possible with several kinds of materials.

Finishing quality
We take great pride in the finishing quality when it comes to our engraving work. We aim to produce engravings that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also clearly defined and long-lasting. We aim to produce fine lines and razor-sharp details, making text perfectly legible, even at the smallest font size.
In accordance with your drawing
The engraving is done in accordance with your drawing. You can either send us your own AutoCAD drawing, or you can have us take care of the AutoCAD drawing for an additional charge.
High resolution
For the laser engraving of images, we need a high-resolution photo for an optimum result.
Three-dimensional effect
Engraving in transparent acrylic produces a stunning three-dimensional effect, especially when combined with lighting. The engraving lights up completely when the plate is illuminated from the sides.
Light guide plate
Pyrasied specializes in laser cutting light guide plates. This process uses state-of-the-art laser cutting techniques to beam an optimized pattern onto a clear acrylic plate.
Veelgestelde vragen over op maat zagen van materialen
Bij platen, buizen en staven die wij speciaal voor jou op maat zagen, hanteren wij een zaagtolerantie van +/- 1mm per zaagsnede. Na het zagen bramen we het product niet standaard af.
De randen van de gezaagde kunststofplaten zijn vrij ruw en er zit vaak een zaagslag in. Op maat gezaagde platen worden niet standaard braamvrij (handvriendelijk) afgeleverd.
Wij rekenen circa 5 mm zaagverlies per zaagsnede bij het op maat zagen van alle kunststoffen (buis, plaat of staf).
Voor een glanzende, strakke randafwerking kunnen de randen gepolijst worden. Dit geeft het mooiste resultaat. Deze bewerking voeren we graag voor je uit. Het is ook mogelijk om de platen op maat te laseren. Dit geeft automatisch een strakke randafwerking.
Introducing our machinery
Formaatzaagmachines en CNC opdeelzaagmachines
Onze Altendorf tafelzaagmachines (formaatzaagmachines) zijn vooral geschikt voor kleinschalige zaagbewerkingen. Met een Altendorf zaagmachine is het mogelijk om onder een hoek te zagen (verstekzagen) van bijvoorbeeld 45 graden. Platen dikker dan 120 mm kunnen wij voor je op maat frezen.
Wandzaagmachines
Wij beschikken over vier wandzagen die meestal gebruikt worden voor het op maat zagen van kunststofplaatmateriaal. Met onze wandzaagmachines kunnen wij plaatmateriaal tot 15 mm opdelen met een maximale plaatmaat van 3050 x 2050 mm.
Nesten van het materiaal
Onze computergestuurde zaagmachines maken gebruik van speciale nesting software. Hierdoor kunnen we economisch én duurzaam met het materiaal omgaan. Het productieproces is volledig geautomatiseerd: van de werkvloer, programmering tot het verwerken van het materiaal. Wij zorgen ervoor dat we zoveel mogelijk uit een volle plaat kunnen halen zodat we nauwelijks restanten overhouden.
Pyrasied has a set of CNC machinery with milling machines by Rover and Cosign. Each has a 3-axis guided cutting head. The machines have a flatbed cutter, a top router, and a bottom router. They’re perfect for challenging processing tasks.
We also have machines manufactured by Biesse, built specifically for milling plastic materials. These powerhouses work at high speed and are therefore suitable for the heavier work. These machines work with different types of cutting heads, such as spot mills or ball mills. Another advantage of Biesse machines is that they can drill horizontally into the edges of the plate. They are also highly suited for achieving level surfaces.
For the precision jobs, our first choice is Cosign machines. These machines are smaller, lighter and extremely accurate.
For laser engraving, we use CO2 lasers made by SEI, a world-class brand.
Randafwerking
De randen van gezaagde platen zijn van zaagkwaliteit, dus met een nette, scherpe zaagsnede. Op maat gezaagde platen worden niet standaard handvriendelijk afgewerkt of voorzien van een meubelfacet. Voor een glanzende randafwerking kunnen wij de randen voor je na-polijsten. Als je wensen hebt voor wat betreft de randafwerking: we horen het graag van je.
